Nelly Moser can very definitely fade in strong sun so it could be a faded out version of it. I am not sure if Snow Queen is readily available here in the states since it is of New Zealand origin. Then again, the type IIs are not my area of interest. Perhaps someone else can answer your question better than I.

I agree with Miguel..looks like it could be a faded out version of "Nelly Moser"..would love to see a fresh bloom of it to be sure...Jeanne

Jeanne, I figured if anyone would have her it would be you or BorS since you two like the type IIs. Do your blooms on it look anything like what the OP linked or do you still think it could be a faded out Nelly?

Miguel...I can't remember if I told you but My Sony Computer went goofy on me and dingy me restored it and forgot to transfer all my pics from this year onto my flashdrive...so, I don't have any great pics of "Snow Queen" except the one on my website...to me there are Pruning group 2's and THEN there are PRUNING GROUP 2's.."Snow Queen" in my gardens falls into that group that blooms off and on all season on both old and new vines..kinda like "Ramona" and my "Dr. Ruppel"..whereas my other pruning group 2's have two definite bloom periods Spring and late Summer/early Fall and maybe..justttttt maybe spit out a bloom(maybe 2 or 3 ) here and there for good measure..the pic she has in her link has a faint pink bar..."Snow Queen" doesn't..she has ruffled tepals and purplish anthers..at times...I've even seen a slight hint of lavendar on the edges of her tepals that remind me of my clematis "Claire de Lune"..
So..the OP pic is more like a faded "Nelly" to me...
