Clematis in English Gardens

A friend in England sent me a CD of pictures he made at Great Dixter and Sissinghurst gardens. Some of the pictures contain pictures of clematis but quite a few don't; however since most of us are in the grips of winter and our gardens are now personna non grata, I figured that most people would love to catch a glimpse of some great pictures of these gardens. When you log onto my Photobucket account via the link below, on the left hand side of the page that pops up you will see links to the albums containing the pictures of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst. I will probably delete the albums in a few months, but I hope you enjoy the pictures while they are stil posted.

Miguel....THANKS so much for sharing...while I truly enjoyed the clematis at Sissinghurst..I must admit what has always amazed me the most about European gardens are the sculptured bushes and shrubs...they are fabulous...I don't know how they can find the time to keep them so flawless..Jeanne

Glad you liked the pictures Jeanne. I imagine it must take quite a meticulous groundskeeping crew to keep those sculptured shrubs and bushes looking so good. I think I could use them to keep my hair neat and tidy looking! LOL I am so bad about noticing when I need a haircut. One day I am fine with it and the next time I notice I wonder how I let it get so long.

I think we all fall into that catergory for my hair drives me nuts until I finally get off my you know what and cut it..grrrr..hope you are having a wonderful Christmas Season..hugzzzzzzz...Jeanne

Thanks (to you and your friend) for the images. It was lovely to wander around such lovely gardens (even virtually) when it's in the single digits and 2 ft. of snow outside!

Glad you liked the pictures. I figured anyone already suffering from the winter blues would enjoy them.
