from my Sweet Autumn Clematis into a structure for it to climb, but I planted it so late into the season it was hard to unkink the tangled vines, so I just jammed it in there best I could. In the spring should I cut it all back to the ground? Right now of course everything is brown & dismal dormant here in Michigan. Do I try to untangle the dead stuff or what? Help!
