The cork should be pretty easy to peel off, just use your fingernail but be careful because they are slippery little buggers. If a bit of cork sticks to the seed that's not a problem. The actual seed is pretty small.

Dry them off and carefully chip away the cork with your fingernail. I don't worry if there are a few small pieces that don't come off. The seed looks like a little flat bean. Scrub nails well afterward.

I think I have formally come to a point where I have too many plants. I lost one I like this week in cutting form and I just dont have the space to go after it again from someone.

What are you saying look like watermelon seeds? Are you sure you have brug seeds? Even with their corky covering they don't resemble watermelon seeds.

The inside seeds in most of the shells looked smooth and slick like a watermelon seed.

I buried them already. So I can't take a pic. I am sure I have the right thing.
