Moss, Ferns & Cryptogams

I got a trough for Xmas that is supposed to grow moss. There are no instructions with it and I don't know what to do with it. My daughter said you spritz it with water but how often? It is made out of (or looks like) concrete.

Any help is appreciated.

Have a look at this website. Assuming that your container has been "inoculated" with moss spores, look at the section entitled "encouraging moss to grow".

If after a while you decide that it must not have had the moss spores already (because nothing is growing), look at the first section "how to grow moss" and start from there.
