Days gone by....................

Theresa helped me with instructions and I'm sorry if dial up does not work for this but here's one slideshow of my seedlings.

I have two more slideshows to share but will wait until everyone demands to see more!!!

Hope this works! If it does, enjoy.

Let the show begin!

Oooooooooohhh, so beautiful Brenda, especially, was it Butterfly x Cypress, the first on your slide show that is two-tone. More, we want to see more!

I'm not sure why it didn't work for me but it would just show the same pic about 10 times before going to the next photo, then show that one 10 times, etc.

Worked fine for me. Karyn, that first one comes in different angles of it, not all the same if you watch the buds carefully.

Brenda, I have already told you I think these are lovely.

Great job with the slide show, It worked for me.Thanks for sharing!

Brenda...those are all yours??? (tears in my eyes) I'm movin' in. That'll cure me.

Hey all, don't know that you know this, but for another slide show of a lot more different brugs, click that one picture with the beautiful 2x3 tone brug flowers, which I prize among many other brugs I've seen...2 different tri-color flowers on the same tree...awesome blends...

    Excellent brugs brenda.

AND, the OSCAR, for best photography (and gorgeous flowers) goes to............BRENDA!!!! Morning wind chill here this morning was 8!!!!Your flower show sure warmed me up. Thanks! Merry Christmas to all and PEACE.

I finally got the slide show to work, just gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed looking through all the pics in your brug album as well. You've really come up with some lovely crosses.
    Karyn

    Karyn and all

Thanks for the appreciative comments- I wish those were my crosses, Karyn. I only have one OP cross on an Esmeraldas x Mountain Magic seedling- only one seed pod left, one fell off and I removed the others when I dug and potted the plant to bring inside. But this pod is getting fat!! Yeah!!!

This coming year, I will see what I can manage to get to take- the conditions sound really strict, so I will do my best.

Who else hybridizes here on this forum- Karma??? Anyone else? Is there a tutorial or Primer??

Thanks Brenda for the slide show, although it gets stuck on 1st picture and them moves along well... Very nice Inca Sun X L'Amour.
Thanks for the question also because I want to breed next year, there is a section at BGI, although not in depth.

I thought those were your hybrids! so you got the seeds at BGI or elsewhere>? If so, then what are your obligations to the breeder if you grew them from seed?

I've crossed a few but with no intention of ever registering or naming them. My record keeping is too poor and it's a lot of work. I just do it for fun and to see what I end up with.

    The brug hybridizer etiquette is:

If you buy the brug seeds, the plant rights are yours but it is considered very good taste to acknowledge the hybridizer- that happens with many plant species.

If the seeds are shared or given to you, you have to contact the hybridizer and get approval for registration and naming. And give credit to the hybridizer. All seedlings are trialed for a few years, to evaluate vigor, uniqueness, and other catagories listed on the registration form.

So, I have stated the hybridizer in various postings of these photos here, and on other forums, but don't do it each time.
