There are quite a few MIA including Lenette, Bob, Sue Tran, Gloria, Annette (again) and Mike (probably still having computer problems).

But seriously, I just think that life goes in different directions at times and away from places you loved. Sometimes you just do not have enough time to do it all.

So you have to make choices and cuts.

But as I found out in the short time I am here....our MIA friends do pop in from time to time :-)))))

With others like Mike and his computer problems...or Karyn posting all the time and then the snowstorm and she is not posting...of course we worry. Just like with Daniella. I know she posts regularly so I do hope very much that she is ok and just busy with christmas and SOMEONE will hear from her and let us know

I haven't heard from Daniella in quite a while. I've emailed Theresa back and forth recently about chinchillas and she's ok. Mike posted fairly recently. Geez I only didn't post for a day or two!!!!

Jim (bossjim) had 10 hours of freezing temps with the last cold front that went through. He was in mourning last time I talked to him as the garden was pretty beat up.

Awe, poor Jim. I know they aren't use to freezes that far south. I stopped by the garden center in Houston. They had a sign that said 70% off tropicals so I had hoped to find some good deals. They had nothing but Christmas trees and poinsettas, lol. Thats probably what happened to all their plants.

After a cruel dry summer got hit by a freeze at the end of November. It put the finishing touches on recovery. It lasted at least 8 hrs so it toasted everything outside the green house. It was unexpected.

I have been growing Oleanders. I have collected 100 starts growing in the greenhouse but it seems they do not like to grow unless it is 100 degrees outside. Just 2 months till the start of summer again.

Jim sorry the weather got to your garden :-( Boy you sure are trying to get into Oleander now lol They will make it !! I had a hit and miss when I tried to root them.
