Try Boston Fern-it's indestructible!!!!

I'm not sure about your zone, but many ferns grow in full sun near the coast in California. Davallia trichomanoides (squirrel's foot fern) gets full midday sun and seems to do fine, though fronds seem to turn browner faster in the summer. Blechnum gibbum grows faster in full sun than shade, but again older leaves brown sooner than in part shade. Platycerium bifurcatum seems to do just fine when mounted in full midday sun here...I've even seen several thriving for years planted in the middle of a hanging basket with impatiens in full sun (though the impatiens looked a little thrashed). I've even seen maidenhair ferns cover rather large areas of rock gardens in the middle of unprotected front yards. Overcast skies linger into late morning most days here in summer, I'm sure that has a huge impact.

Some people report being able to grow Osmunda regalis and Matteuccia struthiopteris in full sun as long as the roots are kept moist.

Boston fern will not be hardy in your zone... It is a nice fern for a hanging basket tho.

Ostrich ferns if kept wet will tolerate a BIT of sun. I would suggest christmas fern tho, will take more sun than most I can think of and will take a bit drier conditions too. Its also evergreen so you can enjoy in the winter months too if its not covered by snow :D
