Very cute! How long afore they have to be mounted?

Thanks... These little guys came as plugs, so I mounted them right away. They've been done for about 2 weeks. They're so young, they haven't developed any shield fronds.

I like Platycerium but my other half would find it too freaky hanging on the wall,lol

Actually, my husband was the one who wanted to get these. I like them, too, though. They're a very interesting and unusual plant. He made the mounting boards for them. He attached a short "shelf" to each one, so they can either stand alone or be hung on a wall. I want to hang them, but I don't have the hardware yet. I just need to get 3 little picture hangers.

Actually, having them standing on the windowsill makes it easier to check them for moisture, so I know when to soak them.

They're pretty cool plants, so far! I just hope I can keep them growing good.
