whoa, i just bought one too and have found out that it's not acctually a fern though it looks like one. what i've read so far about the thing is that it's hardier than it looks and typically has well developed roots and can sustain some dryness. i'm planing on watering it when it gets dry and or just starts to droop and putting bowls of water on my radiator through the winter to keep the humidity in the apartment higher than would be normal.

also, anyone - i'f i'm wrong let me have it cause i'm a newbie with the thing.

I live in Fla where this plant is a nuisance. How do I get rid of it? It is killing all my other shrubs, including a washington hedge and a hibiscus. I have tried Roundup but it just laughs at me. Help
