Hey guys I need help with Acrocarp moss. I wanna know how to spread this moss? I really liked it and I tried buttermilk method but it's not working. How to spread this moss? I want this for my bonsai. Any help would be great.
Plant ramets (stems) with the rhizoids just into the substrate. Keep moist. If it will tolerate the conditions it should spread slowly.
I've heard of people trying this buttermilk method for years but have yet to hear of it actually working for anyone. On a suitable substrate just about any moss will become established with nothing more than appropriate lighting, water and time.
