WANTED: Daylilies , for Orchids................................

YES! I have three(3) small, immature orchids that I am willing to trade for daylilies. Two of the orchids are Pathiopedilums, Rosy Dawn. I THINK the other one is an Epidendrum, and I THINK it is white. (NOTE: orchids were an experiment with me, and I have decided to trade off what I have left of my collection). None of these plants have bloomed for me. I would like two(2) different daylilies of 2 or more fans for each of them.

I also have three(3) mature orchids, all of which have bloomed for me. One is tagged C.White Bridal "brilliant" x Dial Snowflake.

Another is tagged Beaugold X Blc.Maxima's Effect. One old leaf had been partially cut off, and I partially cut off a leaf because it was black and dried.

The third plant has no tag. The grower from whom I purchased it sold in the New York market, and names meant nothing to his buyers. I believe it is a Phalaenopsis (moth orchid?) and as I remember it, it was white and pink. This third plant has 2 partially cut off leaves, another in rough condition, and 2 others in so-so condition. It has one new leaf since being outdoors.

The above plants have been grown in plastic pots, and definitely need transplanting and dividing. All of these mature plants have been outdoors all summer long, and look to be in excellent condition (except as noted above). I think I would like five(5) different daylilies of 2 fans each for the mature orchids, (but, if you disagree LET'S TALK ! ) NOTE: I have tried very hard to be absolutely truthful about the condition of these orchids. "Tagged" does NOT mean it is definitely what the tag reads. Kindly reread the above to be sure you will be satisfied with the trade.

NOW, for what I want in return. I'm new to daylilies, but I think that I want daylilies with broad petals, wavey edges, (preferably of a different color,) like or at least similar to Lori Goldston (I can send you a picture) which is on the back page of Dutch Gardens Spring 2005 catalog. Prefer no reds, love yellows and pinks. If you have favorites I would probably like them also. I do have some daylilies, but ask you so send me names of the plants you intend to trade, so I can check your list against mine.

Thank you for your consideration.
