Who needs grass? 2 1/2 acres of willow, ocotillo, mesquite and cactus is enough for us. Easy to water, too! When we lived in the San Fernando Valley, I used to sit and watch the water run down the gutters. Now that I live in the Mojave, I see the water being stolen from Owens Lake, so it can run down the gutters in Canoga Park. Ugghh!
