Pressing Morning Glories

Does anyone have advice for handling and pressing morning glories?

I have a Microfleur microwave press and a regular press. But I haven't been able to try either one because the flowers are just so sensitive and delicate.

They begin to close immediately after I pick them and tear when I attempt to re-open the petals. Makes me feel bad to damage such a beautiful flower but when I read other flower-pressing sites it sounds like people *do* press morning glories--at least it isn't impossible!--but I haven't figured out the proper (or most gentle) technique.
