Check out hand siphon pumps or hand-operated pumps from boating supply companies. (They are used to for getting gasoline from a can to the tank.) A farm-supply or co-op would also be a good place to start. I saw one for $20 here. http://store.yahoo.com/baytec/siphonpump.html. I typed in siphon pump in my MSN browser and got a ton of results. We have ours raised up on a platform so that gravity can work for us and let the water go out to the garden. You can plant around it to hide it, or I have seen a nice Three Sided box made of Trellis that hid meters on a house.
