This is a plant EXCHANGE. I think you'd be better off if you just buy a plant now from a nursery. Next yr you will have 2-3 times as many & you'll have something to offer for a trade.
It is much more work digging & shipping a pond plant VS a land plant...esp. this time of yr. when they are starting to bloom.

Check Wal-Mart, in Arkansas they marked down the lilies to $0.75 :)
If you can't find any I'll be happy to divide one for you and send it for postage in a couple of weeks.

Try your local Home Depot. Was down at one on Monday - they had a wide color range of hardy water lilies for $4 and $5 a box.
Walmart often have boxes of assorted water plants including lilies for around $5.
Try the likes of Lowes as well.

Now, those are some great deals for water lilies!!! I just paid $7-8 for shipping one pkg. of lilies out. They have to be sent priority.

I went to OSH today but couldn't find any water lilies. I also went to the fish store and their lilies were $30. I find it hard to believe that they would be priced at only $5.

I've been to three different Wal-Marts and the regular price was $5.00 for one hardy lily. I don't know if all stores price the same but I'm certain of the ones here(New Mexico),Arizona,and Arkansas. Hard to believe but true :) Most of them aren't named, maybe that's the difference in the prices?

Lilies around here are about $30.00

Went to Home Depot today and they were marked down from $9.99 to $3.99.
