Hoppy Easter to you, Al, and to everyone else on the Forum!

Our dinner will be Sunday as well, just us, dh's mother, and our kids, two sons and daughter and son-in-law. They (daughter and sil) have a turkey that he got from work at Christmas. They wanted to deep-fry it but it's too big so we'll just cook it in the oven and get a smaller one in the summer and deep-fry it then.

I get four days off for Easter. Fortunately it's supposed to rain on Sunday, so i won't feel like i've wasted it cooking!

Happy Easter here too! It's my first wedding anniversary on Easter Sunday so we're downplaying Easter a bit this year :0) But I happen to know the Bunny bought my DH some candy and hid it in the cupboard behind the recipe books...

I will be hosting my side of the family for Easter tomorrow. There should be about 31 of us here tomorrow.

I have babyproofed the house. All the plants went out to the greenhouse. All ornaments went up high. My living room/kitchen/sunroom all looks very clean and simple compared to before. There will be a 10 month old coming who walks all over the place and reaches as high as he can. He loves books and I have 2 bookshelves that are full of books. I did not clean them out...hopefully they will be too tight in there for him to pull any of them out.

But...all of my brother and sisters' families are bringing potluck so I do not have to serve as big of a meal. I love the variety we get then.

We normally get together as a family at my mom and dad's place but since they do the farmer's market, my mom has many many growlight stands that are all full of plants already and set up all over their house. Definitely no room for all of us over there. Besides, we have the hot tub in the sunroom...which is a drawing card for all the younger kids. Which reminds me...another thing to do yet...shock the tub.
