Going for the Green

I guess it was inevitable with a user name like that. Yep I've just accepted the nomination for candidate in Edmonton-Beaumont (all of Millwoods, Beaumont and just south of Beaumnt) for a certain party with Green in the name. We're not allowed to talk politics on here just wanted to let you all know what I've gotten myself into.

Best wishes, Kate. It will be very interesting to see how it all settles out in Edmonton-Beaumont this election.

Yes, good luck to you! Just out of curiosity, are there any Green members of Parliament? We need "small" parties like yours to shake up the big guys!

Thanks for the good wishes. Marcia no there aren't any Green MP's yet but maybe this time? There are a whole lot more Greens running this time and hoping we can do better than the 4% of the popular vote we got last time.
