WANTED: Wanted :Tree seeds

I am looking for trees seeds of the following :

About 20 - 50 Acorns ( I use to grow the back when I was a kid in Europe )

About 20 - 50 Chestnuts ( I have two little trees here, but would love to grow my own )

Apple and Pear seeds .

I grow them for fun, even if they would never produce a fruit .

I am in Cental Alberta, I think that is zone 3A or B

Thank you so much .

I have some apple seeds that I was about to send to someone in Brazil I can give you some from their lot, not much though, maybe ten or so? Have you tried growing a small citrus tree as an indoor plant? I would be willing to send you some but the problem is that they must be planted straight from the orange after you take them out or else they will loosed viability as they dry out. I might be able to get your some acorns, but have no clue where to get chesnuts that will be hardy here in Canada, although I have heard of a not so common type called horse chestnuts (the ones used to play conkers with). We can do a trade or maybe a SASBE depending on what you would prefer.

    Hi Kenny

Well I am for sure very interested in growing everything that is a tree or houseplant ( I am not much of a flower person "yet" )

I would love to take some seeds, if you can miss them, but my only problem is that I have nothing "cool" to trade yet, since I am just started last year .
I can sent you an envelope with postage , that is no problem
    at all .

I only have a few spider cuttings or some common barley seeds for trade ( which isn't much ) I wish I had the real coolstuff to trade *LOL*

Just let me know, either thru gardenweb or my e-mail
    poplarfirewood@hotmail.com

    Thanks,

    J.D.

JD, don't worry about having nothing cool to trade! I never thought anyone would be interested in what I had until I saw people were looking for them! You can try posting that you have some spider plant cuttings and barley and maybe someone might come along! I'll e-mail you my address so you can send out the stamps. I have bubble wrap so don't worry about that, just an envelope and stamps is fine! Glad I could help out, I'll see what other tree seeds I have for you.

I wouldn't mind trying the Goldenchain tree seeds and the Japanese maple .
Since I am fairly new here to gardening, I don't have much to trade other than my spiderplant cuttings
I for sure could sent you an envelope with postage for the seeds .
