WANTED: Solidago 'Fireworks'

I've been seeing this plant over at the U.S. wintersowing forum here on G'web. Has anyone here grown it or know if it is available in Canadian nurseries? It looks like an amazing late summer/early fall bloomer, and I wondered if it could be started from seed, or if the best bet was nursery stock.

Any experience/advice most appreciated.

Hi Wendy, I saw pics in gw gardens and love it too. I think I saw it at a local nursery this past spring...but didn't realize how great it would look. I will check for the plant in the spring too...or wait to see if anyone has seeds! Good luck, Carol

I have grown this Solidago for several years now, and it is a lovely fall bloomer for mostly sun. I purchased mine as a plant from a mail-order nursery, which no longer ships perennials. However, I think some of the better-known retailers in southern Ontario should carry it.
