Mike you have to reduce your pics first. I use Photobucket, then you copy and paste the HTML code directly into the post. Hope this helps and yes I know it is a lot of extra work. Maybe someone else knows an easier way.

Hi Mike, I opened an account with Picasa (link below). Posting pics from Picassa is easy and they've upped their free limit to 1 GB (that's a lot of pics)! After you upload your pics to Picasa, sign in to your account (upper right hand corner). Click on one of the pics in your album. On the right hand side, click on "Link to this photo", Select the size (I usually use Medium), click in the box under "HTML to embed in website", right click and choose "Copy", then paste the html code here on the forum in the message box.

Here is a recent photo I posted to Picasa. You can click on it and see how I've set up my albums.

If the only thing you want to do is to post a picture in a message then tinypic.com works great.

First you upload your photo to tinypic.com. You should use their RESIZE option and make your photo Message Board or 15" Screen size (they seem about the best sizes for using on the message board).

Once your photo has been uploaded to tinypic.com, copy the code in HTML for Websites to your message. When you preview your message, the photo will appear if everything is working.

thanks for all the feedback -- my computer at home is pretty dated, so I'm not sure what it can/cannot support. I am going to post a few pics on the Gallery portion of this site. That's a bit simpler (though it seems no one ever posts there!)
