I share your concern but I don't think there's much that can be done except to hope we don't get any severe cold weather.

I don't think this warm spill will cause any damage down the road, here anyway, where are you, zone? Do you have good snow cover? Please show us your pussy willow.

Yesterday I checked on my French Willow, [first one to push] some are about half way's out. Had several trees planted but found out that no honeybees attracts them, so now most I got rid of. Our native willow, [allot smarter] haven't pushed out yet, all native willow attract bees.

I finally got a pic of the pussy willows went out the other day but the camera was dead. These are on the road behind our house.

We are 20 min north of Grande Prairie. Snow about 2 feet deep still after the thaw no - 40 forcast but - 30 is coming. I lost 2 fruit trees last year hopefully no more this year.

I am not really worried about them but our ground did not freeze this year before the snow came and I am more worried about my fruit trees. Last year my apple split down the trunk due to a warm up then a freeze.
