Nice find, Ang! I think I'll try that to start seeds indoors this winter. You gotta love a well thought out, cheap idea! I wonder will it work for WSing? I suppose you'd have to rig up a cover for it though.

Oh, i would but i probably would never get around to doing it anyway. Looks interesting, but..... :)

I'm more interested in using milk jugs for winter sowing, but our store can't get them this year. I have to find people who buy water now to save some of their jugs for me. I have tons of clamshell containers and i like them because they're easy, but they dry out too fast.

I like the pop bottle idea! But I was finding last year in my indoor sowing that I was so short of room under the lights, I would only use square containers to maximize the space.

I used a couple of clamshell containers for WS last year, but they were thin plastic and they all shattered.

Aaaah I can't wait to get the indoor sowing started! I'm not jumping the gun again this year though, I swear I will hold out. I saw the first rack of seeds at Superstore the other day and I looked but did not touch - yet! ;0)

I bought a package of African daisies. :) I've been watching that Africam a lot and thought it appropriate!

Not that it's not a good idea, but I have seen it many times - yawn.

Ahhhhh - Superstore has seeds already???!!!! This week is my shopping week and I am so weak I know I won't be able to resist even though I am completely getting short on space in my gardens! LOL I could always move some things out, chop back some other things.... yeah... we can make room (didn't I say the same last year? LOL)
