Sigh, I knew it wasn't a good idea to fall in love with a hybrid!

One season they're there; the next, they are no longer available.

For almost 20 years I've grown Buffalo onions (F1)--excellent producers and storage onions --from seed. Now I can't find them anywhere!

Does anyone know of a long day, good storage onion (a non-hybrid, please!) to grow from seed in the north? I know there are some out there, but I'd like to hear how the onions did for you... I live on Kodiak Island, Alaska.
