Hi:

I'm a newbie w/ figs - my father gave me a few about 3 years ago (5 shoots in one pot! No idea what type) and I've only gotten one fig so far.

Started doing some reading on the fig forum and have realized that I should probably repot, root prune, and use a different potting medium.

The figs recently broke dormancy (the basement got too warm) and started to leaf out. They are currently sitting in a sunny place in my house.

My question is can I repot/root prune now or should I wait?

I'd appreciate any advice (or a link to an appropriate discussion thread).
