I think she gave you the wrong name. When I google it the only thing that comes up is her posting and information. I'll see if I can find something by the description for you.

I agree that the name seems to be wrong or made up. There are lots of cultivars of regular field peas (pisum sativum) and they can have different coloured flowers, ranging from white to pink, blue and purple. My best guess is that it is just a pink-flowering variety of pea. I would grow it as a regular pea and see what it comes out like.

I got them in a trade a couple yrs ago. Here's the bloom I got.. I know nothing else about them.

Much smaller seed pod & no I didn't eat them.. Didn't know they were edible... Bloom about same size as garden peas..

I have a several year old seed packet (2002?) from Thompson and Morgan for Yushaya peas. It indicates that these peas are for eating, "Peas are ready to pick around 14 weeks from sowing date. Regular picking will prolong cropping period".

The flowers are the same as Dwarf Grey Sugar snow peas that I have grown. Nice snowpeas if picked very young but loved the flowers for use in salads nice pea flavour and really pretty!

If not kept picked the peas would stop flowering.
