WANTED: Datura Seeds

I am trying to get all 3 colors of the Datura plant, and having no luck. I gave away all my seed in trades over the past few years. Now I have none left. I am looking for the common double purple/white one, the double white one, and the double yellow or 'Golden Queen' one. The people on EBay think these plants must be made of gold, the prices they are asking for 5 seeds are unreal! They dont know that here in south Fla. we can grow them like the weeds they really are, and have hundreds of seeds from 1 plant. BUT they are dealing 5 seeds of each for up to $6.99 for 5 seeds!

Doesnt anyone have these plants, and have a few seeds of each to trade for something I have, I think my trade list is pretty up to date. I have lots of VERY VERY hot pepper seeds for trade. VERY expensive ones,very rare ones. Or to let me get from you in some other way, that certain way we can't mention on the forum...you know...ca-h. I want to plant them now and get some color in my garden this summer. Anyone???? Please.

florida bear I believe I have tons of datura seeds. I am not sure what kind or color they are though. I got a whole bunch in a trade but it was mixed. I don't need the unmentionable....snail vine seeds might be nice though...let me check and you let me know if you want the NOID datura. I know I had the triple purple datura which was nice but I'm not sure if its the same seeds.

Well do you know if they are datura seeds or not?. I am confused by your reply. I have the snail vine seeds,fresh off my vine this past summer. How many do you want for how many of your datura seed mix? Is it possible there are white and yellow in the mix, you just dont know? If they are not datura seeds, what do you think they are?

They are definitley datura...just not sure what colors. I'm not going to count seeds....if I still have them I have hundreds and will just send you I really have no place for them. Do you know what kind of snail vine you have...I know you said its not the normal one? Just want to make sure it is something I can use....if not I really don't care...I will still send the datura.

I have double yellow datura, and some black currant swirl Datura, a single white w/purple tint Datura, some blue Datura,some Datura "Belle Blanche", some Datura "Tatula", some Datura "Stramonium" and a few double white(5 seeds). LMK what you think.

floridabear....sounds like you might be better off going with ladysleeves....my seeds are at least two years old.

Hi. I have emailed both of you...I hope they got to you. I am asking to trade seeds with both of you. My computer has been acting up,and some of my emails dont get sent for some reason. I dont know why. Anyway,I hope to hear back from the both of you, for the yellow and the purple datura seeds. I guess the DOUBLE white are VERY hard to find! So far, no luck!
