Just let them go, Lynn - mine have been out of the snow for ages. There shouldn't be any sprouts quite yet. I think the earliest i've had any have been in the middle of April.

If it gets really cold again, you could throw snow on them, but it probably doesn't matter now. The snow insulates them from extremes in temperature, and with any luck, there won't be much more of that!

I only buried a couple. The rest have been sitting in my potato bins. They looked dry today so I watered them. This is my first time with jugs in the backyard.

It looks like I can put water (a bucket of ice has melted and is staying that way) in the greenhouse and start the rest of my plants in there.

I just check some that I moved into the unheated greenhouse last week. I have signs of life. Some red and pink/purple lupines and a couple of "Sooty" sweet williams. That made me happy today. It is suppose to be warming up as the weekend approaches, yippee.

My lupines sprouted last week, though they probably tried to dig their way back into the soil after this weekend. :-/
