I am taking this heliconia out of my greenhouse. Its my last large growing heliconia from a collection of almost 40 different ones to go. I am slowly getting rod of all the rhizomatous plants that spread in there.
This is a bloom size plant that has been blooming for 3-4 years now and is very beautiful when in bloom. Its not fussy and in optimum conditions attains a height of about 10-12 ft.
A photo of the bloom is included here.
I am looking for cuttings of Hoya archboldiana, Hoya magnifica, Hoya caudata, Hoya retusa and other Hoyas not on my list.
I am always open to species anthuriums or unusual flamingo flower types, always open to Philodendrons, clerodendrons, gingers, make me an offer for what you have I may just want it.
Prefer to keep this trade within Florida, mailing is less expensive that way. I am a generous trader.
