My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Hi Jared. I have Ruutel, Reiman and Marmori, all being short compact plants, so don't expect them to cover a big trellis. I don't know how familiar you are with clematis, though plant deeply and incorporate plenty of peat moss, they really appreciate a cool moist and deep root run.
Hi Thanks for your reply. I have Ville de Lyon and jacmanii, but am trying to establish a clematis on the south-east corner of our house. The roots are shaded but plenty of sun uptop.
I had another (tender) clematis there for two years, but lost it this winter. I lost a few perennials over this winter. Not surprising considering the weather.
I'll see how Ruutel does. I might look for more clematis in this Estonian line if it is successful.
Sounds like you have a good location for planting some clemtis there on the southeast side of your home. I'm just finishing up planting a large number of plants against my house.
BTW, Jackmanii Superba and Vill de Lyon are two of my most favorite clematis.
