is this a newly established row? If so, you will try to keep us aware of the progress, right? Also, are you planning on moving/protecting the row for the winter?

Oh, yeah...btw...I'm jealous...

Yes They are all young figs rooted from cuttings, last year. Each one is one of a kind so i will be able to see wich one is better tasting to my likes.
Once i find the once that i like ,in the fall i put them inside.
The rest will stay there outside to test for winter hardeness.
I like them in a row because it is easier to cut the grass. All My son got to do is mow on one side then turn around and mow the other.
Also the row will stop some of the noise coming from the highway in the back of my property.
Of course this will happen when the fig trees are large enough to make a difference.
They will act as a second sound barrier,as i allready have a 20 foot high, privet hedge ,and a soundproof chainlink fence.
The Problem is that the Traffic incrised a lot in the last 15 years. And for some(Japanese) reason i hear more motorcycle passing trough that makes me nuts, out of my mind and if i had a shotgun some of them will be HISTORY Motorcyclist.Regards
