Hello Michelle,
After my experience last year with Morden Ruby I am tempted to take them out and replace them with Morden sunrise.
Here last summer was wet and the blooms on M.Ruby would rot before opening.
If itÂs not working for you find something else.

OMG Savona, you lost a morden sunrise? Please tell us the dog chewed it or something! Its one of the most vigorous Mordens I have in my garden. There isn't even any die back on the canes this year at all on mine.

My new little roses that I bought, Bonica (own root) and Morden Centenial....have doubled in size.....I am surprised at how fast they are growing. They are still indoors at night of course. No blooms yet though.

Morden series roses seem to do so well, I have a Morden Blush and I have had it for about 6 years now and it comes back bigger, better, and more beautiful each year. First time I trimmed it too just a few days ago. Hope I didn't wreck anything. I hate to trim anything for fear I will disturb something. You know if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of thing. In fact this is the first year I have trimmed any of my Roses, don't know why I did it, but all new growth came from the ground this year instead of the stems. Seemed like the right thing to do I guess.
