Is honeysuckle worth it?

I noticed today that I have a beautiful (presumably wild) vine-type honeysuckle growing in my hedge at work. The neighbouring property is for sale so the whole hedge could be bulldozed any day. I thought of taking the honeysuckle home (or at least some cuttings) but I'm not sure if it's weedy. Any opinions? Is this something I want in my garden?

The flowers are bright pink and the foliage looks very pretty and viney to me. I could post a pic.

Well I guess nobody's overflowing with opinions so I will bring some home and hose it with Round up if I don't like it!

Hey, my thinking is if it's pretty and it doesn't consume your house in the first year, then it's a keeper!lol

I've grown the wild honeysuckle before. The only problem I had was that the base of the plant got woody and unattractive. That can easily be fixed by planting something in front.

Thanks guys, Syreeta I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's pretty. I went out with a shovel thinking to dig it up, but it was actually really big and had a trunk about 4" in diameter! So I took 4 cuttings which are in my propagator, hopefully they root.
