Roses for cutting: Winners and Disappointments

Hi Rose lovers, I love cutting roses to bring indoors and thought I'd start a thread about winnners and disappointments. Since I have limited sunshine I am very concious of winners and disappointments.

My favourite Hardies are Morden Blush, David Thompson and John Davis. Surprisingly the tender "Touch of Class" and no-name Minis from the supermarket do well and make nice cutting flowers.

Champlain, JP Connell and Therese Bugnet have all been slow to take off so I'm not sure about them yet. Purple Pavement doesn't make good cutting flowers and I don't like Pink Grootendorst at all. If I had somewhere to move it or give it away to I would. Any Takers?

What are your Winners and Disappointments?
