Spring Plant Sales

Thought I'd be an instigator and let people know that the Penhold Museum Society is holding their annual plant sale Tomorrow morning from 10:00am - 3:00pm at the (you guessed it) Penhold Museum. For all of you in the central Alberta region, they had a nice selection of annuals and perenials last year (not HUGE, but still really good)...should be good again this year.

Penhold is about 8 minutes south of Red Deer on Hwy 2A and the museum is on the south end of town...look for the railway car parked beside it.

If you hear of any sales or wholesale greenhouses opening to the public for a weekend, let us know!!!

Ours is next Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - noon at the Fort. Be there! :>

Winnipeg's West Kildonan Hort Society has their plant sale this Thursday May 25th at the Garden City Community Centre. Sale is from 7-10 pm but you need to be there early!

The Westman Gardeners(Brandon,Mb) are having their first plant sale at the Central Community Center on Sunday, May 28, 1-4p.m. Hope it will be a good money making project for our new organization formed in February. We're excited, and have attracted many new gardeners, and potential new gardeners. Marg
