I have some plants that I've tentatively ID's as dame's rocket, but mine are biennial. They have been around forever, DH's grandmother grew them, and they pop up when you disturb the soil. Mine are a darker green than the picture shows, with fuzzy leaves, but other than that they look the same second year, when they're getting ready to send up flower stalks. The first year, they form a rosette more like a dandelion. Don't know if this helps or not - I've got to get in gear with the digital camera, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Thanks guys! After looking at Sharon's pics, I thought they looked close enough not to pull up anyway! And today I was at the neighbor's and she picked a wild bluebell seedling out of the bed she was showing me, so I got a good look at that too. So, I'm pretty sure that's my Dames coming up. GREAT! You gotta love the little surprises!

Toots, once finished flowering, let it self seed, it's a self-seeding biennial, so it likes to be left alone to do its own thing.

It can become invasive, but they are easy to prick out if they become too weedy.

They will form a low-lying rosette their first year and bloom the second year, self seed then die and the cycle continues.

I don't think they would transplant well, its best to leave them be ;)
