I have wonderful clumps of berries on my arboricola plants. I would like to know if I can use them as decorative accents in the house. Is there anything I need to do to "dry" them? Will they rot if just clipped & brought indoors? They are mostly yellow with a few reds in between. Thank you.

Good golly...I never even knew they GOT berries! Anyone know about this? Are they safe to bring in? Do they dry naturally? INPUT, pleeeeeeze!

Follow up:
I had the berries indoors for 1 week. They eventually shriveled up & looked terrible. Had to toss.

Ditto--arboricola berries don't "preserve" well. We tried it at the garden center several times to no avail. It's unfortunate because they're pretty cool-looking!
