Heirloom Rhubarb

I have three questions: One,My family has a variety of green rhubarb that has been in our family for a while. What is the best way to propagate a large amount of plants from this variety. two,I would like to start some rhubarb from seed, I know that it doesn't retain the same characteristics of the parent, and I would like to know if i should leave one or two rhubarb flower stalks so it is able to pollinate. and three, what variety of rhubarb has the lowest concentration of oxalic acid?

I have red rhubarb and in the spring just takes parts of the roots. Something like dahlias.Of course if you want tons of them it may not work.
