Has anyone grown morning glories in a region where the average temperatures are only around 15 degrees, sometimes the temperature exceeeds 20 degrees but not often enough.

Also we often have strong winds; can this plant handle these conditions. I look forward to your opinions.

The only cultivar that IÂve had any success growing in my neck of the woods is ÂGrandpa OttsÂ. I also start them indoors 3-4 weeks before planting outdoors around June 1st.
The others seem to flower too late or not at all for me.
