'Atreano' or 'LSU Gold'?

I would love to hear from anyone familiar with or growing both of these varieties to see which of the 2 you prefer. I am mostly interested in knowing if one variety might be more cold hardy or may ripen sooner than the other. I am also interested in taste comparisons between the 2. Thanks for any info.

Just to complicate your question a tad there are 2 Atreanos -- RR and OR. OR is the original and is more flattened in shape. I have all 3 and hope to get fruit from them all this summer. I got fruit from Atreano RR last year and it was very good. If I remember I'll post results later this year.

I don't like Atreano a whole lot, the fruits get mushy too fast. Besides that its good. I don't know which one I have but it came from Paradise Nursery. It sounds like RR since its not flattened.
