EDITH is looking picture pretty today! You did well with your 50 cent bargains. I really like the looks of CATALINA. When I first started growing daylilies, I was so upset when the pinks I bought looked peachy. Then I went on quest to acquire true pinks. A lot of my peachy ones I sold or gave away. Now I value my older Stamiles with the peachy tones for the way they glow at the end of the day and look so nice with the dark purples. MOKAN BUTTERFLY is one of my all-time favorites, and I always enjoy seeing photos of it.

You're right. Mokan Butterfly is a nice one. What a deal on CC and Catalina. I didn't know Custard Candy had that yellow edge. It's very pretty.

Just keep those seedlings coming... we will look every single time:) These are nice red ones.

Those are lovely! Lala, you crack me up!!! Your blooms will come. Mine will be mostly over, because I can see fewer blooms than a couple of days ago.

Thanks everyone. I don't have too many of the ruffley, new daylilies. A couple I do have seem to be having major problems opening up, I hope that is something that will change as they get used to their home, but I got them last fall.
Debra, I am liking those peach ones too. At first I was looking for pink & was disappointed, & spent the last couple of years trying to get a few nice pinks. This was just such a perfect bloom.
Lala, you are so funny :) I'm already dreading the end of my bloom after reading that Kay is seeing fewer blooms. I love my 50 cent daylilies, although they are common ones. I bought 6 others, including what is supposed to be Pandora's Box & Wild Mustang. The others had no tags at all, pretty sure that at least one is another Custard Candy. They also had Moonlit Masquerade & Double River Wye. Already had MM & Pandora's box, but that's ok, I like both enough for 50 cents :) Neither Pandora's Box or WMustang have scapes. I think WM is a later blooming daylily, but PB should have scapes I would think. Just a wait & see game!

Edith is looking excellent. I hope mine looks that good this year.

wow,I love that Catalina.Its gorgeous.They are all very nice.I love CUSTARD CANDY and at least you have the true color in your photo.Mine turns out looking more pink then yellow, then I move down 5 ft and take a photo od EL DESPERADO and it turns out right,with the light yellow.Weird.

Kay, are you serious?! Does the season always end this early in your zone? It's only 6/10! I best not blink, next thing you know summer is over.

I can find those dls locally, but I've never seen them cheaper than $10! Even the end of season sales, never that cheap. Most of the nurseries will hold them over for the following season knowing they can sell them then. You got an excellent deal!

This is a nice bunch of dl's....my ES has never looked that good...hopefully it'll shape up once it gets used to this place! :)

Great daylilies and a bargain to boot. There are no 50 cent daylilies around here either.
