I had a 3 year old fig that wasn't growing well anyway but the cold really almost killed it. Now the only green is coming from the ground. I plan to dig it up and plant it elsewhere. Do figs transplant well when they are young? The soil is very compacted and needs compost added. I also realized its not in the best place for future growth. Any advice for transplanting?
