Leave them in their pots and let the foliage die back so it feeds the roots and them put them in a cool dark dry place like a fruit cellar. In the fall plant them out---

Plant them now where you want them and then let the foliage die down.

My preferred way is the first one, but either way you have to wait until the leaves are borwn and then they can be pulled off.
