Growing fig in northern France and England explains everything,and is not here say,like other authors have done,it is hands on,this scientist was there and recorded every each detailed operation,procedure .
If you have any problems growing fig trees in cold climates,apply Gustav Eisen teaching,and you will be successful.
Of course little things can be modified to ,improve for your climate,like I do,as i do not grow fig trees for Breba ,like they do in Argenteuil,Paris, but my climate do permit and is enough hot and long to ripe main crop here while it is too cold for Breba.
Yet the Eisen Book is a good template to learn how to grow fig tree,and in fact is the only genuine Honest original entirely produced by Eisen,without coping anyone else here say.
