Italian honey fig

Please help! I need advice.

Is there a place where I can buy an Italian honey fig tree?

I plan on growing it in a pot and keep it inside a garage in the winter. Will it work?

My father had a fig tree all his life. He would bury it in the winter. When I married and had a place of my own, I planted fig trees from cuttings, but the trees would never survive because nematodes. So, after 37 years I finally decided to grow it in pots.
