I'm growing kolrabi for the first time and have no idea how big it is supposed to get before being harvested. In fact, I have never even eaten kolrabi before and bought it on a whim when I was buying brocolli and brussel sprout plants. A couple of the plants are already about the size of a large marble and they are all very healthy looking. Can anyone tell me how to tell when to pick them? Do you eat the leaves as well as the ball? Anyone know a good kolrabi recipe?
Thanks,
Kara
