Geranium Rozanne in the shade.

Just as I finished planting my flower beds, 7 more plants followed me home yeasterday. One is Rozanne geranium. I did some search on it , but still not sure how much shade it can take and still flower. I would prefer to plant it in a spot with 2-3 hours of late afternoon sun, This is a part of the garden I see sitting in my chair. Do you think it will flower?

Ella, I don't have 'Rozanne' but I would go ahead and test her as a Woodlander. One of Rozanne's parents is G. himalayense in which I have growing in several spots in the garden, full sun, part shade and shade and they all do very well.

In two or three years, if she doesn't bloom as prolific as you expected, she can easily be moved to more sun.

Thanks Sharon, If it's stays dry for the next couple hours she will go in close to my blue poppies and foxgloves.
