Forget Me Not?

Ok - so i have this plant growing and it's ugly... I've been trying to figure out what i could have possible planted that would be this ugly, and it's finally flowered - (i'll post a pick later) and based on my id - the flower looks JUST like a tiny Forget me Not, but the plant is ugly! Any ideas to improve my ID of the plant?

There is a weed that looks like forget me nots but forms tiny burrs as seeds. I'll have to look it up.

It's Bluebur or Lappula squarrosa - see images in link below. Does that look like it?

Close enough :) On mine the leaves are bigger, but I'd say it's some type of Lappula for sure... Saves me transplanting it! THANKS
