Yes, I can certainly understand that sales are dangerous! My yard is pretty much a blank slate and as far as city lots go, it's fairly large. I therefore need lots of plants (this is how I justify buying so many daylilies).

Just checked out the site for fun, since I'm not planning to order anything. My yard is depressing me as the beds are jam packed full, and I have a million winter sown plants with no home.
But anyway, back to the site, it sounds good, and they state right on the opening page that they DON'T sell tissue culture daylilies. I would be tempted to order something if I could find room.

Laurie and I are presently working on an order together. We'll see how that goes, if Anne still has the daylilies we are looking at possibly ordering. I do like the fact that the daylilies are NOT tissue culture daylilies.

ok... sorry to be so silly... but uneducated newbie here.
what does that mean....
"not tissue cultured" daylilies.
help educate a poor uneducated newbie perennial gardener.

Essentially itÂs a rapid micropropagation of producing mature plants. Many plants turn out fine with this method, however many of us who grow daylilies found that tissue cultured do not come out true of what there supposed to be. You're basic Walmart, boxstore DL's will most likely be TC plants, so its good to shop around and buy only from nurseries who sell divisions.
