South facing wall, reflected sun and heat .

20 years ago

I have a south facing southern zone 3 garage wall, pastel yellow in color, that reflects alot of heat and sun onto the strip of garden in front of it. I have ammended the soil but, as you can imagine, it requires watering. I have a grouping of daylillies, stella d oro, growing around the perimeter with mass of Black Eyed Susan's in the middle. I'm looking for a perennial filler in between the Black Eyed Susans because the Susan's growth rate and bloom time is far behind the daylilllies. The daylillies and Susan's do well here.
